The renovation and extension project involved updating a kitchen and family room. Cavity blocks were reinforced with a concrete ring beam to provide structural stability. The A-frame and lean-to roof were also renovated as part of the project. To improve energy efficiency, insulation boards, 100mm rigid insulation, and 150mm loft insulation were installed. Anthracite PVC sliding doors and windows were then added, along with an exterior rendered finish and PVC fascia, soffits, and gutters. The updated kitchen now featured a new fitted kitchen and vertical radiators, while the floors were tiled. A window seat was also added to the bay window. Finally, all necessary electrics, plumbing, carpentry, and plastering were carried out to complete the project to a high standard. Overall, the renovation and extension have achieved a modern, functional, and energy-efficient kitchen and family room.
